My company / Company profile

Company profile#

Your company's details: how it introduces itself on the site, where it can be reached, what its documents are issued from, and whether it takes bookings from clients.

You will find it in Moje firma → Firmy.

How the screen is divided#

At the top there are two tabs: Firma (the whole form) and Hodnocení (rating moderation). Inside the Firma tab there are seven more.

Tab What it holds Where it is described
Základní údaje (basics) name, invoicing defaults, contact and address here
Prezentace (presentation) texts for the site, per language Company presentation
Média (media) logo and photo gallery Company presentation
Obsah (content) free-form HTML sections Company presentation
Parametry (parameters) the strip of company facts Company presentation
Tým (team) the people shown on the site Company presentation
Provoz (operation) working hours and toggles here

It is one form, not seven

The tabs only divide the content — Uložit (save) saves all of them at once. Switching a tab loses nothing and saves nothing.

The Hodnocení tab becomes available only after the first save

On a new company it is empty, with the explanation Hodnocení se aktivují po uložení firmy (vznikne hodnoticí vlákno) — ratings are enabled once the company is saved. If the form has unsaved edits, the administration asks before switching — save first.

Základ (Basics)#

Field Purpose
Název firmy (company name) required; used everywhere as the company's label
Prodejce (fakturační údaje) (seller) your company in Invoicing, the one documents are issued from
Fakturační řádek (billing line) the series an invoice takes its number from
Typ dokladu (document type) which document is to be issued
Měna (currency) currency of documents and prices
Výchozí hodinová sazba (default hourly rate) the rate inherited by new work items on a work sheet
Výchozí sazba DPH (%) (default VAT rate) the VAT percentage used when the customer has none

This foursome is the last resort, not the first choice

When invoicing, the system looks for Typ dokladu, Měna and VAT on the job first, then on the customer, and only then here. Setting them only here means a Slovak client's document comes out in Czech crowns — and you find out from the finished invoice. See Customers.

Kontakt a adresa (Contact and address)#

E-mail, Telefon, Ulice, Město, PSČ, Země. These are the details of the company itself — notifications about new reservations go to that email, and the details are used in the site header and footer.

Provoz (Operation)#

Pracovní doba (Working hours)#

Seven rows, Monday to Sunday, each with two intervals (morning and afternoon) — the Od (from) and Do (to) columns. An empty day means closed.

These working hours are only printed on the site; they do not drive the slot offer

Free times for bookings are computed from the working hours of the calendar. Change the hours here and the visitor sees different opening hours for the company, while the offer in the booking calendar stays exactly as it was. You notice it when the site claims "open until 18:00" and the last offered slot is at 16:00.

The same part also holds Délka slotu (minuty) (slot length, default 60) and Předstih rezervace (hodiny) (booking lead time, default 24). The same pair of fields exists on the calendar — and the site's booking calendar follows the one on the calendar. Fill them in there first, see Calendars.

Přepínače (Toggles)#

Toggle What it does Default
Rezervace povoleny (bookings enabled) the company accepts bookings from the site off
Hodnocení povoleno (ratings enabled) visitors may rate the company on

The Aktivní (active) toggle is not here but in the form header next to the heading.

The company list#

The Moje firma → Firmy table has four columns: ID, Název (name), Prezentovaná (presented) and Aktivní (active). The last two are switched by clicking straight in the table, without opening the form.

The presented company can only be switched in the list

There is no Prezentovaná toggle in the form. Anyone who only knows the edit screen will not switch the presented company and will search the fields for it in vain.

Only ever one company can be the presented one

The site is rendered from a single company. Switch Prezentovaná on for a second one and the system switches it off on all the others by itself. That is intent, not a fault — but after switching, check that the site really shows the company you meant.

Postup: get bookings running#

  1. Open Moje firma → Firmy and edit the company.
  2. On the Základní údaje tab fill in the name, seller and contact, press Uložit.
  3. Go to the Provoz tab, switch on Rezervace povoleny and save.
  4. In the form header switch on Aktivní.
  5. In the Firmy list switch on the Prezentovaná column for the company.
  6. Create a calendar — Moje firma → Agenda → Kalendáře, see Calendars.
  7. Open the Termíny page on the site and try a booking on yourself.

Without all three toggles a booking from the site will not go through

The company must be Aktivní, Prezentovaná and have Rezervace povoleny. Miss any one of them and the client gets an explanatory message ("the company is not active", "bookings are switched off for this company") and no reservation is created. If it feels like the orders stopped coming, check this trio first. Your own entry from Rozvrhy has none of these gates — it is an internal tool.

Without a calendar the booking form has nothing to offer

Schedules warn you about it with Firma nemá žádný aktivní kalendář — nejdřív ho založte (the company has no active calendar). On the site it shows as an empty calendar with no free days.
