Site identity#

How the site presents itself to visitors and to outside services: name, logo, the icon in the browser tab, and the preview used when the address is shared.

Find it under Nastavení → Identita webu (the Nastavení link at the bottom of the left column).

Without a logo the site name is printed in the header

It is neither a placeholder image nor somebody else's brand — just the text from Název webu. It is worth checking: a long name such as CMS Coolsoft - coolsoft.cz takes up half a line in the header.

An empty field turns the signature off

Leaving it blank does not produce a gap — nothing is printed under the logo.

Images#

SVG can be uploaded too — for the logo and the icon it is the best choice, because it stays sharp at any size.

The sharing image is used only where there is no other

An article or a product with its own preview keeps it. This image covers the rest of the site — the home page, the contact page, static pages.

Social networks remember the sharing preview

Neither Facebook nor LinkedIn re-reads a link on its own after you swap the image. A shared address may therefore keep showing the old preview for a long time; the only way to force them is through their own debugging tools.

  1. Open Nastavení at the bottom of the left column and switch to the Identita webu tab.
  2. Choose a new file next to Logo.
  3. If your footer is dark, replace Logo na tmavé pozadí as well.
  4. Press Uložit.
  5. Load the site and check the header and the footer.

Replacing the logo does not create a second image

The same record in Images is replaced, so no leftover file piles up after each swap. To remove the logo entirely, tick Odebrat.

A new tab icon may not appear at once

Browsers hold on to a favicon unusually long. Try it in a private window — seeing the old one usually does not mean it failed to save.

The change may not show on the site immediately either

The system remembers the settings. If you saved and the header still shows the old logo, ask your administrator to clear the cache.
