Stock items#
The item register. An item holds quantity, purchase price and the link to e-shop goods.
Find them under Sklad → Skladové karty.
Fields on an item#

The link to the e-shop#
An item and a product set are two things joined by a link.

Without the link the e-shop sells without limit
An unlinked item does not govern availability — the e-shop sells what is not there. After creating new goods, always check the link exists. You notice it because stock availability is not shown on the product.
Three quantities#
An item always shows three figures: in stock, reserved and available. Selling goes by available — see Reservations.
Quantity is not entered by hand. It comes from documents.
Do not look for a field to overwrite the quantity
There is none, and there should not be. Quantity is the sum of movements; overwriting it without a document would break the records away from history. Enter both the opening balance and corrections via a receipt or a stocktake.
Minimum quantity#
The threshold below which goods count as running low. It drives the reminder of what to reorder.
Set it from the lead time, not by feel
If the supplier delivers in a week and you sell five a week, a minimum below five means you run out before the new stock arrives. The lead time is on the supplier.
Purchase prices#
The average is recalculated from receipts; the last comes from the most recent one. The margin report is built from both.
A receipt without a price distorts the margin
Taking goods in at a zero purchase price drags the average down and margins then look higher than they are. Enter a price even for samples and promotional items — unless they truly were free.
Disabling an item#
With the Aktivní toggle. The item stays, movement history included; it simply is not offered on new documents.
Goods you stop carrying should be disabled, not deleted
Deleting an item would take with it the movement history that documents refer to.
