Home page and widgets#

The administration home page is your own workspace. Nothing on it is predefined: you build it from widgets — small cards with counts, charts and lists — and every user has their own. What you arrange, colleagues do not see, and the other way round.

What the workspace looks like#

After the first sign-in the workspace is empty. You see a grid of 4 columns of free slots, each marked with a +. A widget takes one slot or more, depending on its size (for example 2×1 is two slots side by side).

The workspace is yours

The layout is saved to your account. It stays as you left it after signing out, on another computer and after a system update.

Adding a widget#

  1. Click the + on a free slot. The Add widget panel opens from the right.
  2. Pick a widget. You can search by name, description and related words — "obrat" finds Revenue, "zakazky" finds Orders (search words are in the language of the administration). Diacritics do not matter. Narrow the list with the module tabs (E-commerce, Invoicer, Warehouse…) or the kinds (Waiting, Statistics, Lists, Actions, General).
  3. Set up the widget (see Widget settings).
  4. Click Add widget. The card appears in the chosen slot.

Close the panel with the cross, the Esc key or by clicking outside it.

Kinds of widgets#

The list follows what you have access to. A widget whose data you may not read is neither offered nor drawn.

Kind What it is for Examples
Waiting one number and a link to the list; shows what needs handling Orders to ship, Unresolved complaints, Adverts to approve, Unsent e-mails
Statistics charts and totals for a chosen period Revenue, Orders over time, Invoiced, Registrations, Advert views
Lists a few latest or oldest records Oldest to ship, Overdue invoices – list, Latest registrations
Actions and General shortcuts and helper elements Quick actions, Quick links, Heading, System status

Waiting cards do not hide a zero. When nothing waits, they show a calm state — you added the widget yourself, so it has no reason to vanish.

Statistics need a separate privilege

Widgets with revenue, invoicing and other totals are shown only to those who hold the Statistics privilege for the given area. Someone who may only browse the list of orders sees "Orders to ship" but not "Revenue". Privileges are granted in Roles and privileges.

Widget settings#

Each widget is set up separately, as far as its type allows:

Option Meaning
Size only sizes the type supports and that fit the chosen slot are offered
Period 7 days, 30 days, quarter, year, or a custom number of days (1–365). Set per widget; there is no shared switch
Style look of the chart — for example area, columns or a currency table; stacked bar or donut for breakdowns
Currency for money widgets: Automatic, All currencies or one currency

Currencies are never added up

Amounts in different currencies are never merged into one number. A widget shows one currency or lists them separately. Only active currencies are offered — a deactivated currency disappears from the list, but its earlier amounts still count in the chart.

Cancelled orders are not counted

Order counts and revenue exclude cancelled orders.

Change the settings in the widget menu (⋯ in the top right corner of the card → Settings). The same panel opens from the right.

Moving and removing#

  • Moving. The card header has a move icon (four-way arrows). Grab it and drag the widget to another slot; the target area turns green if free and red if taken or too small. Dropping it in an unsuitable place returns it. The move is saved by itself, nothing needs confirming.
  • Removing. ⋯ → Remove and confirm. Removing only takes the card off the workspace; no data in the system is deleted.

Mobile and narrow screens#

Below a width of about 1200 px the workspace becomes a plain sequence of cards (two columns on a tablet, one on a phone) and moving is not possible. Instead of the grid with + there is an Add widget button at the end; a new widget is always added at the end. The rest (settings, removing) works the same.

Order on a narrow screen

Cards follow their position on the large workspace: top to bottom, left to right. For a different order on a phone, change the layout on a computer.

The Quick links widget is a set of shortcuts to the administration screens you use most. You choose which links it shows directly in the widget's settings — from the items of the administration menu. Every user has their own links on their own workspace.

  1. On the Quick links widget open ⋯ → Settings. (When adding the widget, the settings are right in the Add widget panel.)
  2. In the Links part, tick the menu items you want on the workspace. They are grouped by menu section; the Search links… field narrows the list. Only items you have access to are offered.
  3. Ticked links are added to the Selected links list. There you change their order and colours or remove a link (see the table below).
  4. In the Style field choose By module (links split under module headings) or One list.
  5. Click Save (for a new widget Add widget).

In the Selected links list you can, for each link:

I want to How
change the order drag the link by its handle; with the keyboard, move to the handle and shift the link with the up and down arrow keys
change the colours set Text color and Background color
restore the original colours the Default colors button
remove the link the × cross (Remove link), or untick it in the list of menu items

One widget holds at most 24 links. When the links do not fit the widget size (mostly with the Podle modulů style), you can scroll inside the widget; a bigger widget gives a better overview.

An empty widget

When the widget has no links selected, it shows the prompt No links yet. Choose them in the widget settings (⋯ → Settings).
