Producers and tags#
Two simple screens. A producer is the brand of the goods; a tag is a label like "new" or "sale".
Find them under Eshop → Nastavení eshopu.
Producers#
The brand — AMD, Intel, Bosch. Used for filtering and as a label on the goods.
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name | shown on the goods and in the filter |
A producer has no logo or description — just a name
A producer card holds a single, untranslated field — no logo, description or SEO fields, and no language versions either. This screen does not give you a dedicated brand page with a logo and a listing of goods.
Keep the spelling consistent
INTEL, Intel and intel are three different producers to the system and
appear three times in the filter. Agree on one form before filling the catalogue.
A producer is assigned on the product, not here.
Tags#
A coloured label that draws attention to goods in a listing — New, Sale, In stock, Clearance.
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name | the text on the label |
| Appearance | the class the theme uses to pick a colour |
The colour comes from the site theme, not from this screen
You only enter an appearance identifier (news, action, in-stock). How the
tag looks is up to the template. A new identifier the theme does not know may
render with no colour at all.
Tags do not apply themselves#
Neither “In stock” nor “New” is maintained by the system
A tag is a manual label. Goods that run out will not remove their In stock tag, and last year's novelty stays a novelty until you unmark it.
Go through the tags from time to time — a wrong label is worse than none, because customers buy based on it.
How many tags#
One or two per item. Four coloured badges on every item in a listing simply stop being noticed.
