Module settings#
How the company directory behaves. You will find it under Company directory → Settings.
The form is deliberately short — it holds only what the directory actually reads.
What is set here#

Validity#
The category's validity takes precedence
The value in the settings is only a fallback. If you set validity per trade, nothing here needs changing.
Automatic approval#
A company directory without approval fills up
Company directories are a favourite target for automated posting. On a public directory leave approval switched on — otherwise within a week it fills with listings that have nothing to do with your field.
Image dimensions and the watermark are NOT here#
And they do not belong here — the directory has nothing to read them with
Thumbnail sizes are driven by the server's image variant configuration, the watermark by a global path setting. The keys were removed from the form on 2026-08-13, because no code read them.
If somebody put them back, the first save would recreate them
The form writes every listed key, including the ones nobody reads. Handle a change of dimensions with your server administrator.
What the scheduled tasks take care of#

Without the scheduled tasks listings never expire
Companies that stopped paying stay in the directory forever — and because expiry is not one of the visibility conditions, they keep being displayed normally. Check with your administrator that the tasks are running.
