Statistics

An overview of revenue and what sells. Meant for orientation, not for accounting.

Find them under Eshop → Statistiky.

What they show

• revenue for a period,
• order counts,
• best-selling goods,
• development over time.

The period is chosen with the filter above the chart.

🔴 The numbers need not match your accounts

Statistics count orders, accounting works with documents. They can diverge for several reasons:

Situation	Effect
Order cancelled after the invoice was issued	the document exists, the order is not counted
Credit note	statistics may not deduct it the way accounting does
Unpaid order	may appear in revenue but not in the accounts
Different period	a document issued on 1 January for an order from 31 December

Do not use statistics as a basis for tax

Documents from Invoicing are for that. Statistics are an operational overview — how much sold, what sells, when the slow season is.

What they are good for

What to restock. The best sellers of the last month tell you what to order from the supplier before it runs out.

When to run a sale. Development over time exposes the slow periods.

What does not sell. Goods that have not sold once in six months take up room in the catalogue and in the warehouse.

Compare periods of equal length

Comparing "this month" with "last month" is already skewed by months having different numbers of days and weekends. The same month year on year says more.

Export

Statistics cannot be exported

The screen offers eight charts (revenue and counts by period, carrier, payment method and complaints) with a period filter above each one — there is no export button. To work with the numbers elsewhere, you have to copy them out by hand.

When the numbers look wrong

1. Is the period right? The most common cause.
2. Are unpaid and cancelled orders included? It depends which statuses count towards the statistics.
3. Is test data still in there? Trial purchases from the launch period can skew the numbers for a long time.
