Company profiles#
The company listings. Find them under Katalog firem → Firemní profily.
What a profile carries#
The content — name, address, contacts, description, opening hours, photos — are parameters. These are the fixed fields:

The moderation fields appear only once a category is picked
Until then the form does not know which parameters to offer.
A listing's journey#
- The company is listed — by itself, or by you.
- It confirms the listing by a link in an email.
- You approve it.
- It is paid for, unless the category is free.
- It shows until its validity runs out.
Listing without registering#
A profile can be entered by somebody not logged in. They get a password with which they then edit it.
The password cannot be deleted, only replaced
An empty field means "keep the current one". To take a company's access away, set a new password.
Listings with an owner are easier to manage
With a user account attached, the company manages the profile from its account and need not keep a password. Recommend it for paid listings.
Opening hours#
Entered in a dedicated field — days, hours, breaks.
Opening hours can be lost silently
If the field is not rendered on save — JavaScript off, a hidden field — the profile saves without them and nothing reports it. Check the opening hours after every profile edit.
Moderation#

Ban rather than delete
In a company catalogue the same author often returns. A banned listing is evidence that they have been here before.
Company ratings#
A profile carries ratings — stars and reviews.
Company reviews are sensitive
The company will get in touch quickly. Stick to the rule: delete reviews that break the rules, not the ones that are unwelcome. You can reply too — though it is better to let the company reply.
Manual validity fields#
The expiry and the highlighting can be overwritten, but payments govern them.
The next payment recalculates a hand-set value
Extension only goes up, so a validity shortened by hand is stretched again by a payment. To end a listing, deactivate it.
