Forgotten password#

The system generates a new password and emails it to you. You do not click any links or choose a password of your own — it arrives ready-made.

Steps#

  1. On the sign-in form, click forgotten password.
  2. Enter your username — an email works too; the system searches for both.
  3. Submit.
  4. Open your mailbox. The email contains the new password (ten random characters).
  5. Sign in with it.
  6. Change it in your profile to something you will remember.

Your old password stops working at that moment

The new one is stored the instant you submit the form — even if you never open the email. Do not request a new password "just in case" while you might still recall the old one.

Change the new password straight away

Nobody remembers ten random characters, and the password remains in your mailbox.

The form always thanks you, even when the account does not exist#

The response is the same every time, whether the name exists or not.

It is not a bug; it is a safeguard

If the form distinguished "account not found" from "password sent", it could be used to check who is registered on the site. So it always thanks you — and you learn the outcome only from the email.

The screen therefore does not tell you whether you entered the correct name

If nothing arrives within a few minutes, try again with your email instead of the username (or the other way round).

When the message does not arrive#

Without access to the account's email, the password cannot be recovered

The password is sent only there and cannot be sent anywhere else. You will need to contact the site operator and prove that the account is yours (the number of your last order or another detail that no stranger knows about you).

The new password#

Do not invent a variation on the old one

Password2026 after Password2025 is the first thing anyone tries.

Longer beats more complicated

Three random words in a row are safer and easier to remember than eight characters with asterisks. The minimum is five characters, but that really is only a minimum.

Never send your password to anyone, not even to ‘support’

Nobody at the site operator needs your password — they can get into the account without it. Anyone asking for it is not from support.
