Alerts and emails#
What the site sends you and how to set it up.
What you may receive#

|---|---|
| Registration confirmation | when the account is created |
| Password recovery | when you ask for it |
| Order confirmation | after an order is placed |
| Order status change | on dispatch and other steps |
| Reply to an advert | when somebody gets in touch |
| Saved search | when something you are looking for appears |
| Expiry warning | before an advert or membership runs out |
| Newsletter | only if you ask for it |
The newsletter#
You subscribe through a form on the site, usually in the footer.
The subscription is not activated until you confirm it
After subscribing, a message with a link arrives. Until you click it no newsletter is sent — protection against somebody else subscribing you.
You can unsubscribe using the link in every message footer. It takes effect immediately.
Do not report a newsletter as spam if you asked for it
The unsubscribe link is faster and does not harm the delivery of messages about your orders.
When messages do not arrive#
- Look in spam.
- Check the address in your profile — any typo?
- Add the sender's address to your contacts so messages stop landing in spam.
- If nothing arrives even after an order, contact the operator.
Some mailboxes reject automated messages
Employers' mailboxes especially. For orders and accounts, a personal address is safer.
I do not want to receive anything#
Messages about orders and your account cannot be turned off
An order confirmation or a password recovery cannot be disabled — the site would not work without them. Only the newsletter and optional alerts can be turned off.
