Paying by SMS#
Some services can be paid with a single text message from your mobile — no payment form, no card, nothing to set up first. Your mobile operator adds the amount to your bill.
What can be paid by SMS#
The site operator decides which services can be paid by SMS. Typically:
| Service | Where you find the offer | Second word of the SMS |
|---|---|---|
| Topping or highlighting an advert | in the advert detail, box Express payment | INZ |
| Highlighting a company in the catalogue | in the company detail | FIRMA |
| Highlighting a discussion post | as instructed by the operator | DISK |
| Membership, credit | as instructed by the operator | UCET |
What the SMS looks like#
The text always has four parts separated by spaces:
| Part | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| keyword | VYTVORWEB |
the site's word under which the SMS reaches the operator |
| module | INZ |
what the payment is for (advert, company, discussion, account) |
| service | TOP |
what you are paying for |
| number | 956 |
the number of the advert, company, post or your account |
Example: VYTVORWEB INZ TOP 956 — topping of advert number 956.
Letter case, diacritics or an extra space do not matter: vytvorweb inz top 956 works
the same.
Step by step: pay for a service by SMS#
- Open the advert or company you want to promote. The Express payment box shows the price, the SMS text and the number for each service.
- On a phone, tap Send SMS — a message opens with the text and number filled in. On a computer, copy the text exactly as shown.
- Send the SMS to the number shown for that service. Every price has its own number; the number decides how much you pay.
- Wait for the reply. It usually arrives within a minute.
Membership and credit#
For membership, the last number of the SMS is your account number, for example
VYTVORWEB UCET CLEN 1234 (membership) or VYTVORWEB UCET KREDIT 1234 (credit).
Somebody else can therefore pay for you — the service goes to the account whose number
is in the text. The operator tells you the text and the number to send it to.
How the payment works#
Every SMS counts only once. When the operator delivers it repeatedly (for example after a connection failure), the service is not activated a second time — the site only finishes what was left undone, or repeats the original reply.
What you get back#
| Reply | Meaning |
|---|---|
Topovani pro inzerat 956 aktivovano. Dekujeme. |
paid, the service is running |
… bude aktivovano po potvrzeni platby. Dekujeme. |
the operator is still confirming the payment; the service starts once the confirmation arrives (more expensive services) |
… Sluzba nebyla aktivovana, reklamace s kodem 4812. |
the service did not start — see claims |
Replies are in Czech without diacritics (SMS). When the SMS went to a number with a
different price than the service costs, the reply names the right number:
Cena neodpovida sluzbe, spravne cislo je 9033350. Sluzba nebyla aktivovana,
reklamace s kodem 4812.
Claims#
Every SMS that did not start the service gets a claim code in the reply. The operator finds the payment under that number in the payment overview, together with the reason it failed.
- Keep the reply with the code on your phone.
- Write to the site operator (contact on the website) and include:
- the claim code from the reply,
- the phone number you sent the SMS from,
- what you wanted to pay for (advert, company, post or account number).
- The operator activates the service by hand using the code, or refunds the payment.
Most common reasons and what to do:
| Part of the reply | Reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Neplatny tvar SMS. |
the text does not have four parts or starts with another word | copy the text from the website again |
Neznama sluzba. |
the module or service in the text does not exist | check the second and third word |
Polozka 956 neexistuje. |
the number at the end belongs to no advert (company…) | check the number |
Polozka 956 neni aktivni. |
the advert is not approved yet, switched off or sold | wait for approval |
Cena neodpovida sluzbe… |
the SMS went to a number with another price | send the SMS to the number from the reply |
Do not send the SMS again before the reply arrives
The reply can take several minutes when the network is busy. Every further SMS is a new payment.
