- A kind of external connection the system knows how to use (reCAPTCHA, maps…).

- ConnectionCheck
- Result of a live check of a connection's credentials against the third party.
- ConnectionField
- One configuration value of an external connection (e.g. the reCAPTCHA site key).
- ConnectionTypeRegistry
- All connection types known to the code, indexed by their code.
- ExternalConnections
- Runtime view of the installed external connections: is it enabled, what are
its values. Read once per request (and from the Redis query cache between
requests), so toggling a connection in the administration takes effect
immediately — no config edit, no cache purge.
- GoogleIntegrations
- Values of the Google connections as the site uses them: a value is returned only
while its connection is enabled and filled in, otherwise null (= service off).
