Thrown when a scalar identity property (a PK column, not an association) receives an array.
Typical source: the canonical reference envelope {"id": {"id": X}} leaking into the
top-level id through findManagedByScalarId(), which unwraps the envelope itself for
its lookup while the hydration of the id property runs again over the original data.
IMPORTANT: no unwrapping here on purpose. Unwrapping would mask a destructive merge, and
an identity property has no legitimate nested shape (unlike associations, where
{"id": {"id": X}} is the canonical reference).
