Id of a generic entity (type `object` / `BaseEntity` / generic entity template).
getId() is not on BaseEntity: texts and links with a composite key do not have it. For an
entity with a simple key (IdentifiableInterface) it returns the same as getId(); for
null or an object without an id, null (calling getId() on such an object would fail).
