Priority (no .env by project convention; secrets and overrides go through gitignored files):
- env
NETTE_DEBUG(override, wins):1/true/on/yes= on, anything else (including0/false) = off. Switches debug without touching the disk (e.g. temporarily via vhostSetEnv NETTE_DEBUG 1). - the gitignored flag file
config/debug-mode.flagexists = on. On a dev server create it withtouch config/debug-mode.flag; it is not in the repo, so production defaults to off. - otherwise off (production default).
